Lloyd & Mousilli Secures Win in Domain Name Dispute Before ADR Forum

Lloyd & Mousilli, a boutique law firm focused on intellectual property and technology law, has secured a win for client Locklin Networks in a domain name dispute. The matter was handled by Managing Partner Feras Mousilli and was resolved through the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Forum.

The case involved a dispute of ownership of the domain <ubiquiti-networks.com>, registered by Lloyd & Mousilli’s client Locklin Networks. The Complainant in the matter, Ubiquiti Inc, sought to have ownership of the domain transferred to them, alleging that it was registered in bad faith. As a result of Lloyd & Mousilli’s strategic guidance throughout the arbitration process, the Panel ultimately determined that the domain was not registered in bad faith and Ubiquiti Inc’s transfer request was denied.

Feras Mousilli commented on the matter:

“We’re pleased to have secured a successful outcome for our client. Domain name conflicts can have real business and reputational consequences. Our team’s expertise in complex IP issues and technology law allowed us to help our client navigate those risks effectively.”
